Emma- your home renovations and gardens are inspirational. I have a similar home in the woods and would love to know what you are planting that are deer resistant, and work well in wooded, shaded areas. Deer have left alone catmint, lavender, coreopsis, ferns, peonies and some rhododendrons so far.

I see some of those in your photos. Your advice or knowledge is appreciated.

Such a good question and hard to answer! Deer eat different things depending on the area… I’ve had luck with everything you mentioned and also black eyed Susan, daisies, also shrubs like sweet pepper bush, st Johns wart, spirea.
