Emma- your home renovations and gardens are inspirational. I have a similar home in the woods and would love to know what you are planting that are deer resistant, and work well in wooded, shaded areas. Deer have left alone catmint, lavender, coreopsis, ferns, peonies and some rhododendrons so far.
I see some of those in your photos. Your advice or knowledge is appreciated.
Such a good question and hard to answer! Deer eat different things depending on the area… I’ve had luck with everything you mentioned and also black eyed Susan, daisies, also shrubs like sweet pepper bush, st Johns wart, spirea.
It’s so fun to see you decorate your home Emma! You have great taste and your home looks so cozy and peaceful!

Deer have devoured my black-eyed Susan’s but I haven’t tried daisies or the bushes you mentioned. Thanks!
