A little home update 🏡
The fireplace reveal, a behind-the-scenes peek, and something exciting that went live today.
I’ve been sharing a few more home projects lately, and judging by your messages... I think you all enjoy a good renovation as much as I do. 😊
This week I finally shared our fireplace refresh on Instagram. It’s one of those spaces that’s evolved many times over the six years we’ve lived here, and I can honestly say this version feels the most us. Warm, cozy, inviting... and the place everyone naturally gravitates to.
I’ve always believed that creating a home isn’t about making it picture-perfect. It’s about creating spaces that support the life you’re actually living. A place to gather, to unwind, to laugh with friends, to curl up with a book, or simply to hide the many primary-colored-toys that seem to accumulate constantly 😂. Our homes have such a big impact on how we feel, and over the years I’ve realized that nurturing those spaces is its own kind of self-care.
If you missed the fireplace reveal on Instagram, I’ve included all the details and sources below.
Today is also a really exciting day because my feature with Arhaus officially launches!
I’ve genuinely loved Arhaus for years. Their pieces have this beautiful balance of feeling elevated without ever feeling precious, and that’s always how I’ve wanted our home to feel. I want our home to be beautiful, but I also want it to be lived in. So when the opportunity came up to work together, it felt like such a natural fit.
Over the past few months, we’ve been working together to select living room and outdoor furniture. You might remember, I worked with Arhaus in 2023 to furnish our family room, so this time we were focusing on refreshing the space with some new items, and also completely furnishing our new patio. Recently, their team came to photograph our home (nothing like a photoshoot to get you in full update mode - I went nuts and worked on my garden for months as soon as I knew we were doing this photoshoot!), and now, seeing the finished images has been really special. They somehow captured not just the furniture or the styling, but the feeling of the space, which is something that’s always mattered most to me and to Dave.
It was such a fun creative project. The Arhaus team came with a photographer and videographer and styling team. My friend Natalia did my makeup. I love watching a set design team do their thing — they brought beautiful cut flowers from the flower district in Manhattan, lots of baskets and vessels for styling. And most importantly everyone was willing to work around Skylar’s nap schedule :).
Today I wanted to share a little behind the scenes from the photoshoot as well as some of the stunning final images. I can’t believe this is my house!
Now, some of the final images:

You can also browse the collection and see more of the spaces we created together if you’d like a closer look. I hope it gives you a little inspiration for your own home, whether you’re planning a full renovation or simply refreshing a favorite corner.
And if this has uncovered a little renovation itch for you too, there are still plenty more home projects and spaces to share over the coming weeks!

The Lenny Swivel Chair is so, so comfortable.
A great cushion that has the perfect color palette.
This platter that makes any table look elevated.
I mean, could this outdoor end table be more perfect?
Obsessed with this tray, whether it’s collecting glasses for outdoor dining, or a few different vases of flowers from the garden.
The light that this rechargeable lamp gives off in the evening is spot on.
These outdoor dining chairs are so luxe.
Never in my life have I come across a more ideal outdoor coffee table! (It’s also heavily discounted at the moment, so if you’re looking for an excuse … !!)
From now on, I always want to be found on an outdoor chaise.
As always, thank you for following along and for letting me share little glimpses into our home. It’s been such a fun project to work on, and I can’t wait to show you what’s next!
Is there a room, a project, or even just one little corner of your home that makes you smile every time you walk past it? I love hearing about the spaces that make a house feel like a home.

The outside landscaping and new furniture are all so connected but very unique all at the same time. Love your style and projects! Swivel chars are the absolute best by the way 😎☀️
Looks beautiful Emma! I remember when you first moved into this house! Love seeing how you made this such a home and I'm happy to see Rhody even made the photo shoot!
